The Molinari Quartet is very proud to have won the Opus prize for the Concert of the year – modern, contemporary music for its concert Tribute to R. Murray Schafer that was held on October 15 2021. The new Molinari Quartet digital-only release of Philip Glass’ string quartets nos.1-4 is now available for pre-order ahead of the June 10 release date.
A second volume will be recorded next year and the complete set of quartets will eventually be released as a box set.
