The Molinari Quartet is very proud to announce that it has won the Echo Klassik prize for its Kurtág string quartets recording in the category Chamber music 20th-21st century.

The Echo Klassik awards are the most important classical music awards in Germany. The Echo Klassik trophies will be handed out on Sunday, 29 October 2017 during a gala event in the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall in Hamburg. The German public TV channel ZDF will broadcast the ceremony.

The Molinari Quartet is among great artists such as Joyce DiDonato, Matthias Goerne, Daniel Hope, Maurizio Pollini et Christian Tetzlaff in the 2017 Echo Klassik awards.
