At the annual Opus Awards Gala of the Conseil québécois de la Musique, the Molinari Quartet received an Opus Prize for its recording of György Kurtág’s complete string quartets on the ATMA Classique label in the category: “Record of the Year – Modern Music, contemporary.
The Gala, which celebrates the excellence of concert music in Quebec, was held on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the Bourgie Hall at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
