Conservatoire de Montréal 4750, avenue Henri-Julien, Montréal, QC, CanadaThe Molinari Quartet pays tribute to the great American arts patron Elizabeth Sprague-Coolidge who recognized and encouraged important composers of the beginning of the 20th century. Thanks to her vision and generosity, musical masterpieces were composed.
The Quartet will perform two works that she commissioned as well as R. Murray Schafer’s 12th string quartet. This work was commissioned to underline the 15th anniversary of the Molinari Quartet and was made possible thanks to the generosity of Quebec patron Phyllis Lambert.
