The Quartet According to Ali-Zadeh. Concert of the complete string quartets by Ali-Zadeh.

Conservatoire de Montréal 4750, avenue Henri-Julien, Montréal

The Molinari Quartet presents the complete string quartets by Azerbaijani composer Franghiz Ali-Zadeh including the world premiere of a new string quartet especially written by Ali-Zadeh for the Molinaris.

Composer Franghiz Ali-Zadeh is an internationally renowned composer whose works create bridges between the music from her native South-Western Asian roots and Western music. It is a great honor for us that she accepts to write a quartet for us.

The concert will be preceded by a conference (in French) entitled Ali-Zadeh : Tisser le Levant et le Couchant that will be given by Nicolas Jobin.
