Intimate Concert : Sound Odyssey (1 pm concert)

The series Intimate Concert is back for a 3rd season thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, (CALQ).
The Molinari Quartet presents a concert for a small audience and with respect of social distancing in the intimate setting of the Molinari Foundation. To enable a larger number of people to attend, the concert will be played twice on the same day, at 1 pm and at 4 pm.

Tickets are 20$, payable at the door or by money transfer beforehand.
The concert Sound Odyssey explores the colours and timbres of the string quartet with surprising works by five composers who push the boundaries of the instruments. Percussions, sound recording, kamacheh (Iranian instrument), resonators and amplification are just some means used by the composers to stretch the limits of the string instruments.
