Molinari / Mondrian : inspirations musicales

27 October @ 19:30 - 21:00
18$ – 37$

This concert is an artistic dialogue between Quebec and the Netherlands: string quartets by two Quebecers meet those of two Dutch composers, while paintings by Molinari and Mondrian dance and transform themselves to the sound of their music, thanks to Dutch video artist Udo Prinsen.

The Molinari Quartet is delighted to be part of the 16th concert season at Salle Bourgie. On October 27, the concert “Molinari / Mondrian: Musical Inspirations” will draw parallels between two great painters, Molinari and Mondrian, as well as two Dutch composers, Janssen and Bulsink, and two Quebecers, John Rea and Denis Gougeon. The four works will transform the painters’ canvases through dynamic projections by artist Udo Prinsen.

A pre-concert talk will take place at 6:30 p.m.
