The Molinari Quartet’s next concert
The Molinari Quaret’s next concert will be held March 2 2012 at 8 pm at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. The Quartet will perform Dimitri Shostakovich’s quartets nos 8 through 11 as part of it presentation of his complete quartet cycle. The concert will be preceded by a Dialogue at the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur on Tuesday February 21 at 8 pm as a workshop in preparation for the March concert.

A 14th Opus Prize for the Molinari Quartet !Le 2012-01-30 11:03:48
The Quebec Music Council’s annual Opus Prize Gala was held yesterday afternoon in Montreal. The Molinari Quartet was awarded the Opus Prize for the Concert of the Year 2010-2011 in Montreal for its performance of Dimitri Shostakovich’s last four quartets on November 26 2010.
The prize is accompanied by a 3000$ grant by the Montreal Arts Council.
