The Molinari Quartet is very proud to have won the Opus prize for the Concert of the year – modern, contemporary music for its concert Tribute to R. Murray Schafer that was held on October 15 2021. The prize was awarded at Opus Prize Gala held by the Conseil québécois de la musique on February 5 at Bourgie Hall in Montreal.

The new Molinari Quartet digital-only release of Philip Glass’ string quartets nos.1-4 is now available for pre-order ahead of the June 10 release date.
A second volume will be recorded next year and the complete set of quartets will eventually be released as a box set.
