In August, the musicians recorded the third volume of the complete set of Philip Glass’s eleven string quartets at Saint-Augustin Church in Mirabel. To mark the composer’s 90th birthday, the three-CD box set on the ATMA Classique label will be released on February 12, the day before two marathon concerts by the Molinari Quartet, during which they will perform all 11 quartets in a single day.
