DESCRIPTION:In preparation for the concert  entitled «Two» on February 16\, the musicians of the Molinari Quartet invite you into the worlds of composers John Rea and Dimitri Shostakovich. \nDuring this workshop\, you will hear excerpts from Quartets Nos. 10 and 13 by Shostakovich as well as excerpts from Objets perdus and Objets perçus by John Rea. \nJohn Rea will be present to talk about and discuss his works with the public\, one of which is a new work commissioned by the Molinari Quartet. DESCRIPTION:The dancers from the Compagnie de danse Virginie Brunelle and the musicians of the Molinari Quartet are off to Vancouver for 4 shows of «Les corps avalés»  as guests of the Vancouver International Dance festival from February 28 to March 2 at Vancouver’s Playhouse Theatre. \nSpringing from an extraordinary union between classical music\, performed live by the Molinari Quartet\, and contemporary dance\, Les corps avalés is a moving human odyssey that reveals Virginie Brunelle’s sensitive intelligence and great musicality in all its luminous power. \nThe Molinari Quartet accompanies live on stage the dancers with music by Philip Glass\, Henryk Górecki\,  Dimitri Chostakovitch and Samuel Barber\, among others.
