DESCRIPTION:Théâtre musical LES FABLES DE LA FONTAINE\nQuatuor Molinari et Catherine Perrin \nQuatuor Molinari et Catherine Perrin\, clavecin et narration\nOlga Ranzenhofer\, violon / Antoine Bareil\, violon\nFrédéric Lambert\, alto / Pierre-Alain Bouvrette\, violoncelle \nCe théâtre musical familial est une présentation du Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée et du Quatuor Molinari en collaboration avec Mme Catherine Perrin\, au clavecin et à la narration. Onze fables seront récitées par Catherine Perrin et illustrées par une musique de Denis Gougeon pour clavecin et quatuor à cordes\, et par celle de Jean-Philippe Rameau pour clavecin. La première partie fera entendre Molinari dans le Quatuor op. 11 de Samuel Barber (avec son célèbre Adagio)\, suivi des Fables en seconde partie.

DESCRIPTION:The series Intimate Concert is back for a 3rd season thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec\, (CALQ). \nThe Molinari Quartet presents a concert for a small audience and with respect of social distancing in the intimate setting of the Molinari Foundation. To enable a larger number of people to attend\, the concert will be played twice on the same day\, at 1 pm and at 4 pm. \nReservations by email at qm@quatuormolinari.qc.ca or by calling 514-527-5515.\nTickets are 20$\, payable at the door or by money transfer beforehand.\nThe concert Sound Odyssey explores the colours and timbres of the string quartet with surprising works by five composers who push the boundaries of the instruments. Percussions\, sound recording\, kamacheh (Iranian instrument)\, resonators and amplification are just some means used by the composers to stretch the limits of the string instruments. \nCome discover new sounds produced by the string quartet! \nFranghiz Ali-Zadeh : Oasis\nKrzysztof Pendrecki : Quartet no.1\nGiacinto Scelsi : Quartet no.2\nShowan Tavakol : Hologramme Modal for string quartet and kamancheh\nGeorge Crumb : Black Angels
