DESCRIPTION:The Molinari Quartet completes its concert cycle of the string quartets by minimalist American composer Philip Glass. \nDuring this Dialogue\, the musicians will perform excerpts of the quartets\, give biographical and historic informations and analyse the works to be played. The public is invited to ask questions to the musicians regarding the works\, their interpretation\, the preparation work of the musicians before a performance\, etc. \nThis Dialogue enables the public to prepare itself for the Molinari’s concert The Quartet According to Glass that will be held on Friday February 13 at 7:30 pm at the Conservatoire de Montréal. \nImmerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of New York City thanks to the music of Philip Glass! \nExcerpts of quartets nos 8 and 9\, Suite from Bent and Quartet Satz by Philip Glass \nFree admission \n
